Taxi Service to River Cottage H.Q.

Petes Taxis can offer reliable and comfortable services to and from either of the River Cottage venues.

Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall's base for running courses and events is at River Cottage HQ, Park Farm, Musbury, 4 miles from Axminster Station and can only be reached by taxi as there is no public transport service to the Farm. Petes Taxis will pick you up from the Station, deliver you to the River Cottage HQ and collect you at the end of the evening to get you back to the Station in time to catch your train.

The River Cottage Canteen, Axminster can be found in the centre of the town on Trinity Square. The River Cottage Canteen serves evening meals from 6.30pm onwards. Petes Taxis will pick you up from your accommodation to get you there in time for your reservation and collect you at an arranged time to deliver you back to where you are staying.

Taxi Service to Weymouth & Portland 2012 Olympic Sailing Events.

The waters of Weymouth Bay and Portland Harbour will play host to 10 exhilarating Sailing events during the London 2012 Olympic Games between July and September. The area is a world class sailing destination with events being held around Weymouth and the Portland National Sailing Academy.

The Olympic Games takes place from 29 July to 11 August and the Paralympic Games from 29 August to 9 September.

Teams from 61 nations are expected to take part in races over 15 days. There will be roughly 400 sailors competing for 54 medals.

It is proposed that one course will take place in Portland Harbour, with three in Weymouth Bay.

The Olympic Sailing events will start on Sunday 29th July 2012 and finish on Saturday 11th August 2012. It has been estimated that 60,000 people per day will want to visit Weymouth and Portland to see the Olympic Sailing events.
